Our Services

The monthly By Brook News provides a full calendar of all the services in the By Brook Group of Churches.

More about our services:

Holy Communion

Most Communion services at Churches in the By Brook Group are based on Common Worship, but we also offer:
-  Book of Common Prayer Communion service;
-  Family Communion and Communion for All Ages;
-  Celtic Communion;

Benefice Service

Our monthly Benefice Service is an opportunity for all in the Benefice to come together to share in worship, communion, and fellowship.  The service is usually themed, and often includes a guest preacher.  Activities for younger children are provided during the service.

The Taize Service

The emphasis of the Taze service is on silence, light, and above all the meditative weaving together of prayer and music. If you’ve never been to this service do come and experience the peace and simplicity of Taize.

Village Celebration

A friendly service of about half an hour for all ages, celebrating a variety of themes including many of the rural services, followed by a social with drinks and nibbles.

Family Service

A simple and fun service for all ages, lasting around 45 minutes, with a mixture of older and more modern songs, exploring together, and activities for younger children.
