EDWARD BEAR
All are welcome from across The Benefice and it’s a great way of getting to know others especially if you are new to the area.

1st Friday of every month at St Nicholas, Biddestone 10.00am
It is a very informal group, which is attended by local parents, toddlers and babies and a great place to make new friends, or to catch up with old friends.
The session begins with a celebration of any birthdays that month, followed by a story, crafts and a prayer. The sessions are child-centered and the children are involved, as much as possible. The session normally ends over tea, coffee and home made cakes.
No charges are applicable and no bookings need to be made.
The last Wednesday of every month at Castle Combe Village Hall 4.00 to 6.00pm
Edward invites his friends to meet on a monthly basis in the village hall at Castle Combe to enjoy a short time together with other children and whoever is looking after them, be it Mother, Father, Granny or friend. At Christmas Edward holds a special party to mark the occasion.
A time of friendship, music, stories and play for all preschool children from birth and their families. Each session usual begins with story time, songs and actions based on a theme for the day. Often crafts and cooking are also included with some tea for all at the end.
The group has been meeting in Castle Combe for almost ten years and seen many families and children get to know each other and develop friendships and a link with the church.

THE ARK
